Swimming Pond
Enjoy a refreshing dip in our small swimming pond with a quaint beach. Fed by rain and a gentle spring, the water level changes naturally, adding to the authentic rustic experience. Alternatively, cool off in the nearby Hart Creek, and we provide towels for your convenience.
Guest Access
Guests have keyless access to the entire Farmhouse. While there are two additional rental cabins on the property, you may encounter other guests during peaceful hikes. In the winter months, one cabin is visible from the back deck, offering a unique, open view of the countryside.

Kate June 2025Erin's farmhouse was very clean, remote, and as described. Erin was incredibly responsive to any message over the AirBnB app and provided easy-to-follow instructions for both check in and check out.
The farmhouse is fully heated and airconditioned (with minisplits) and ceiling fans, but you can also open the windows and enjoy the sounds of the birds and the frogs. Bird watching from the back deck was an unexpected delight and the yoga mats that came with the place were fantastic for impromptu yoga on the deck during our stay.
It is very removed, which is it's advantage. It's only a 1.5 mile run/walk or drive from the Katy trail, a 20-25 minute drive from Jeff. City.
Very comfortable, very clean, well maintained, and with plenty of kitchen supplies and linens!

It was less than a half hour to Columbia, which was great, and felt a world away being surrounded in nature in such a peaceful, private oasis- which we all enjoyed so much! The best of both worlds. Hosts were very courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at this farmhouse in the country. We really enjoyed the sounds of nature like the frogs at night and the turkey gobbling in the morning in the distance. Beautiful countryside.
