165 km north of Jyväskylä, Muurasjärvi 30 m (width 2.4 km, length 13 km), really gently sloping, hard sand bottom, pier, own boat.
The two-storey log chalet 1994, on the ground floor a large kitchen-living room, bedroom with double bed and a cot, bathroom, dressing room, sauna, separate toilet and a terrace.
Upstairs there is a lounge, a bedroom with 3 beds, a bedroom with 3 beds and, a small bedroom with 2 beds and a balcony. Halmeniemi is an old family estate, which dates back to the Stone Age. The cottage is located on a slope in a narrow peninsula with organic birch-and pine-covered grounds. In the yard of the smoke saunawhich is heated by a separate payment. Site for a campfire, no grill.
Owner rents nordic walking sticks.
Lighted trail / jogging path 3 km away, Peurapolku 12 km, St Lake Golf Ltd 54 km in Pyhäjärvi, Salamajärvi National Park 50 km, Haapajärvi railway station 40 km, Kruunupyy airport 140 km.
