35 km west of Savonlinna, Lake Saimaa 100 m, shallow, hard sand bottom, which deepens gently, own boat. Wooden villa built in 1904, renovated 2012, kitchen, dining room / living room, 1. bedroom with double bed, 2. bedroom with double bed, 3. bedroom with convertible sofa bed, 4. bedroom with double bed, 5. bedroom with four beds. Library room, children's playroom, 2 showers, 2 toilets. Air source heat pump. Separate lakeside sauna built in 1987, renovated in 2011, 90 m², wood-fired stove and electric stove in the sauna, room with 2 showers, dressing room, toilet, living room with open fireplace, kitchenette. Also Savonlinna Opera guests have traditionally stayed at Southern Savonia Villa 1091. This historic villa has been renovated and equipped to meet today's needs. Villa is located in a scenic ridge area. Vilkaharju is scenically, geologically and because of its forest ecosystems significant ridge area bordered by Saimaa lakes. It has been a protected nature reserve since 1978. In Vilkaharju it is an easy to hike and ski (when there is snow in the winter). The main building does not have a sauna, but there is a separate lakeside sauna. There is a pier from sauna's terrace. Villa has appr. 200 meters wide swimming beach. 20 000 m² plot with grass field for playing badminton and volleyball. Note! Road No. 438 passes right next to the villa 15 m away, there is a wooden fence in between. 3 parking spaces, canoe, fishing possibilities (pike, perch, pike-perch, trout, grayling, salmon).
